4 week checkup

We had the 4-week doctor check up today. Can't believe how quickly time is going by! (She's actually be 5 weeks this week).

But the little peanut is doing well, and now weighs a healthy 9lbs (up from 6 lbs 12 oz at her 3 day appt). She's also grown 3/4 of an inch. She eats like a champ, so we weren't too surprised by this at all!

She was super quiet and patient throughout the whole exam--just kind of checking things out and looking around. well, until she got a shot that is. Nothing harder to watch than that--thats for sure!

She's Here!

I'm a little late in getting this up online, but our little sweetie is about 3 weeks old and we're loving getting to know her. Sleep is in short supply, but it's a wonderful time and we're just so happy to have her.

One week—Thanksgiving 2009

Here we go!

Only about 4 weeks left--how crazy is that. I'm feeling about as big as a house. Ok, maybe a double-wide, but big for sure.

Speaking of houses, we're getting the place ready to go. Nursery is almost done, office has been moved, and stuff is getting washed/put together for baby Allison version 1.0. More to come soon!
